A simple 1/8″ to 1/4″ adapter.
Blender was used to model the item, some tricks were used to add round edges without adding much geometry:
- Baking down the bevel shader from Blender to a normal map
- Transferring normal data from a beveled stashed mesh to a chamfer in the low poly (with the MeshMachine addon for Blender 2.8)
Texturing was completely done with Substance Painter, final renders were made with Marmoset Toolbag.
